2018-2019 Land Rover in a hurry to share an important event in its history – the emergence SUV 2018-2019 Range Rover Hybrid and 2018-2019 Range Rover Sport Hybrid. For their demonstration of one only motor show in Frankfurt the manufacturer has decided not to be limited, and sent the new cars in the running length of 16 thousand kilometers across twelve countries from Solihull
SUVs received the power plant, consisting of a diesel engine SDV6 volume of 3 liters and the electric motor 35 kW. Maximum power is 340 horsepower with a torque of 700 Nm, implemented an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The manufacturer points out that the total weight of the motor, inverter and traction batteries does not exceed 120 kilograms.
The latest generation models generally developed with a view to the introduction of a hybrid power plant, hence the new elements simply took their seats and did not affect the space in the cabin or trunk, as well as off-road capabilities of the car. Full size spare tire, too, will not disappear.
2018-2019 Range Rover Hybrid accelerates from zero to hundred kilometers per hour in 6.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 218 km / h. 2018-2019 Range Rover Sport Hybrid justifies the “sports” title a little more frisky acceleration dynamics and increased maximum speed. Sprint to the first hundred in the SUV takes 6.7 seconds, top speed is 225 kilometers per hour. Both models consume an average of 6.4 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers and emit 169 grams per kilometer of carbon dioxide.
In the driving mode on electric traction vehicle weighing nearly 2.4 tonnes will be mastered by 1.6 kilometers at speeds up to 48 kilometers per hour, and then come to the aid of diesel. It should be noted that the electric motor generates decent 170 Nm of torque.
In Europe, both hybrid models from 2018-2019 Land Rover are available to order from September 10, but the first deliveries of vehicles to customers scheduled for early .
