2018-2019 Opel produces the most powerful model in the new Astra OPC with a label for the European market and called Vauxhall Astra VXR UK. The new 2018-2019 Opel Astra OPC is based on the latest version of the GTC and has a 280-horsepower engine, which is paired with a manual six-speed transmission.
Externally, the new Astra OPC is different from the version of GTC, sculpted bumpers and side skirts, spoiler and two exhaust pipes form a trapezoid and stylish alloy wheels with five-spoke Y-shaped and high-performance low-profile tires.
Under the hood, the new the OPC, of 2018-2019 Opel establishes a 2.0-liter engine with four-cylinder engine that develops 280 hp maximum power with a torque of 400 Nm, which allows the car to be dispersed to 250 kilometers per hour maximum speed.
For comparison, the Astra the GTC is offered with a choice of one diesel and three petrol engines up to 180 horsepower and a maximum torque of 380 Nm is available only on models with diesel engine capacity of 121 horsepower and only with Overboost function.
In addition to the impressive performance and a stylish exterior design, the car gets a high-performance Brembo brake system of production and reduced, fully automatic suspension with manual selection of one of three modes – Normal, Sport and VXR / OPC, the latter of which has the most athletic settings.
Changes in the new 2018-2019 Opel Astra OPC touched installation comfortable bucket seats with a logo on the headrests and leather-covered multifunction steering wheel with a thicker rim and flat bottom, as well as modified controls, creating a comfortable, cozy and functional sports car control center.
