2018-2019 Honda released the first images and data on the fuel consumption of the new Civic model year. Presented for the first time at the beginning of the year at the Detroit Auto Show in the updated 2018-2019 Honda Civic – this is the ninth generation of the popular model, which while increasing productivity becomes more economical.

The Japanese car maker said that the fuel consumption on the highway for all models Civic model year, except for the sports version of Si, not more than 6 liters of fuel, and the new Civic Hybrid consumes just 5.2 liters
HF, Sedan and Coupe models are equipped with 4-cylinder 1.8-liter I-VTEC with 140 horsepower coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. Fuel consumption on the highway with this engine version HF is 5.7 liters per 100 kilometers, and for the sedan and coupe – 6 liters per hundred.
More economical Civic Hybrid runs on a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, the hybrid installation with a lithium-ion battery and a continuously variable transmission CVT. Fuel consumption with a combination of 5.2 liters per 100 kilometers, and the power of 110 horsepower.
Rounding out the new line of Civic sports model Si, which develops 200 horsepower. On the sports car is equipped with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine has a maximum torque of 230 Nm, which is 22 percent more than the current version.
