The basic version focuses on reliability. Setting the mirrors, door locks and windows opening drive – manual. The mirrors, front bumper and door handles are not painted for intensive, daily use. The standard base version Amarok includes folding rear seats, height-adjustable front seats, 16-inch steel wheels and integrated into the side mirrors of the antenna.
More feature rich version of the Amarok Trendline gets a body-colored front bumper, door handles and side mirror housing, as well as an electric drive for the power windows, door locks and mirror adjustment. Front fog lights, cruise control, multifunction display, climate control, radio with CD-player and 16-inch wheels are also present on the Trendline version.
In addition to Trendline equipment, Amarok Highline gets chrome accents outside in the interior, expanding the arches for big wheels with 17-inch aluminum wheels, elegant seating, automatic climate control, interior finishing of leather and high-quality audio system.
The largest segment for the pick-up interior of the new Amarok enables the driver and passengers a spacious place, even for rear seat leg, as full-fledged five-seater. In the case of a trip together, the rear seats can be folded, which further increases the luggage space.
Amarok new cargo compartment has an area of 2.52 square meters – 1555 mm in length and 1620 in width. At relatively low sides (525 mm) 2018-2019 Volkswagen focuses on “best of breed” located in the luggage compartment between the arches, which is 1,222 millimeters. Amarok is able to deliver a weight of 1150 kg and tow up to 2.8 tonnes.
For security systems, in addition to ABS (Automatic Braking System) and the EDL (electronic differential lock) all versions of pickup trucks are equipped with ESP Plus Hill Hold Assist, which prevents the car rolling back when starting uphill until the driver presses the gas pedal.
