2018-2019 Nissan has published information on the latest development – the Micra with a 3-cylinder, 12-valve, 1.2-liter engine with direct injection DIG-S, equivalent to the power of 1.5-liter four-cylinder. The new Micra DIG-S to join the current version with 80 horsepower, which is on sale in October and will be available in summer .
The company reports that the small-sized and compact hatchback 2018-2019 Nissan Micra for fuel efficiency can compete with economical diesel engines in its class, leaving behind the petrol. With emissions of just 95 grams per kilometer, the car even exceed the requirements of today’s environmental standards and become a cut above the competition.

The company focuses on the use of innovative coating parts of the engine system, to reduce friction. Coating rings is used for the first time in the world, thus reducing friction by 18 percent. And for the valve lifters, this figure increases to 50 percent.
Also on the new Micra DIG-S engine used by the control system start-stop, which is in an urban setting is especially effective and balanced specifically for 3-cylinder engine flywheel which allows to get rid of vibration at idle.
The new Micra DIG-S will be presented at the International Motor Show in Geneva in early March, and sales will begin this summer.
